This reminds me of one I have been seeing lately "It doesn't matter how many times you fall. What matters is getting back up again."
Getting back up and trying again… that's the important thing.
I like to think that when something doesn't go right, it isn't a failure, it's just another learning experience.
Yes! A learning experience. No other way to look at it.
That's a good one, since I've failed a lot in life. If I gave up after failing, I would never have gone to college. True story.
I have also failed a lot. But I just keep getting back up and trying again.
Like this quote and to me it isn't just keeping on trying it is also our attitude that makes a big difference as to whether we give up or give it another shot.
Attitude is half the battle, isn't it?
Good quote that is so true Cheryl!
Everybody fails, even Caesar did, and he even managed to get murdered:-)
The important thing is that we don't remain on the side of the road but get back on track again…
Absolutely!
As one who suffers from perfectionism and an overly analytical nature, I welcome these quotes so much.
So glad you like them.
What a fitting quote to start the week. It is a reminder that we are not the only ones who stumble. It takes a strong person to get back up and keep moving. Thanks for the inspiration.
Everyone makes mistakes. We just have to learn and rise above them
Great quote for the start of the week – it's hard to remember that you can keep on keeping on. it doesn't have to be the same exact project either to have the same results. More than one way to skin a cat, is one I like to keep in mind when things haven't quote worked out as I expected them to. Thanks Cherryl.
I love that – more than one way to skin a cat. If something doesn\’t work the way you thought it would the first time, try it again and change it up a bit. Kinda sounds like this blog, doesn\’t it? LOL
Thanks for the wonderful quote. I was thinking about doing a blog give away. A little scared of not being successful…After reading this one, sure, I am going to try my second blog give away.
You go for it! I am sure it will be a success.
Fear can be such a downer, can't it? I agree with both of you, if we never try we never know what's really possible.
The other thing I have learned is that you can try something new with a friend at your side. Less scary that way.
So very true.
))
Agreed. i think the precursor to that quote, at least for me, is don't be afraid to try.
Happy Monday!
I understand. That was me not that many years ago. Nothing ventured, nothing gained is the moto now.
