Then there isn't much to think about other than, "I'm happy." Ha, ha. Seriously, all the "tips for success" say the first step to being successful is "Think Positive." Thanks for the motivation!

How true! Think positive is the first step for most things. :)

I could agree more. It garbage in garbage out, or beauty in beauty out. We make the choice. I don't always succeed but I do try practicing the latter. :)

Very good way to put it – garbage in garbage out. It's a choice. :)

Oh I'm with you on this. But I think it does depend on who you are, depending on how you look at that. If you think about "who you are" as being who you are as far as your character, values and morals are concerned, then, "who you are" might help you to be a happier person. For instance, if "who you are" is a person who believes their thoughts make a difference, then they are more likely to think more positive thoughts.
On the other hand, if he meant, "who you are" as far as, is your name famous, do you belong to a rich family, etc., then no, it wouldn't matter who you are.
I hope this makes sense. It does to me. Ha! :-)

I think this quote speaks more to how you think. You can be a person who looks at the glass as 1/2 full or 1/2 empty. You can be famous or have lots of money but how you think will affect whether or not you are happy. You can be destitute but still look at what you have rather than what you have not and be a happy person. Now it's my turn to ask if that makes sense. LOL
